One thing I notices (late maybe) is that this manga tell most of its story through narration box. Which makes it feels like a Light Novel in manga form. The pros I guess would be that the manga will tell story nearly the same as LN does, so less room for fault.

I think that the implication was that they did act "girly" in their previous life, but that they also were suppressing some of that at the same time. So actually becoming a girl was like unleashing the floodgates on all of that.

It isn't that weird tbh, he already had a few years to get used to it.
And apparently he liked cute things in general in his past life, so it wouldn't be weird if he was actually into it but just never had the chance to play it out, after all it just doesn't feel right to act like that as a 30yo dude lol
