Well, that was fun.
I have to say comparing to some other romcoms that ended (or finished tl on mangadex) lately, this was satisfying and set up well. Even some (pretty straightforward) literary symbolism here and there (the comments have caught it mostly)
Just nice to see solid craftsmanship/structure.

(Oh PS the recommendation for Ayumu-san is valid, that’s a similar experience just with more forehead)

This was one of the first rom-com series I started reading back when I first started getting into reading manga (2018), honestly never thought I'd ever get to see or translated to the end, it's not exactly a special manga but it was a decent read. Thank you for finishing this.

that was decent ending. the series quickly become repetitive, pull usual side character 3rd wheel, then completely forgot about female lead routine antics, which the whole premise. sometimes enjoy it, but the rest will be forgotten. 6/10.

Good ending but as usual my complaint will always be: Why can't we get more post relationship romcom? We either get the relationship right away with no build up or it takes forever, they finally get together, and then... end. We don't get any satisfaction of seeing the characters be in a relationship and building it up. We might get a '5 years later' epilogue but that is honestly kind of... meh half the time. I love the few series I have read where it builds up to their relationship starting, maybe a few hurdles in the way, and then naturally plays out their relationship for awhile.

I think I enjoyed this for the art more than anything else. Though it was all still decent enough. It could've made use of a few more chapters, be it for the sake of actually using the father as an antagonist to their relationship or for giving us a little time skip at the end to see their relationship come mostly to fruition.

As forgettable as it turned out I doubt I'll forget this manga any time soon since I've been following it since the first few chapters were scanlated. I tend to get a little sentimental with manga that I've been around to see the start and end of I guess. Anyways, cheers for finishing this one off Irrelevant Scans.
