We still don't know this. The author said it was most likely to be cancelled in volume 3, which is where it's at (so another 3/4 chapters). If it's really canceled we should get an announcement either next chapter or the one after that, but it's also possible it'll just drop the final chapter out of nowhere (I've seen it happen with monthly manga).

Between forced crossdressing, lying about being his mother, and forcing a seed of doubt in his mind, can't say I'm a fan of this chapter. At least the end was cute. Also, at least there appears to have been consent to the crossdressing, since he wants to help, which is a lot more than most series are willing to give. Another case of keep it to just the two main characters and this series is gold.

As much as I hate to admit it, this chapter heavily leans toward a rushed ending - we'll probably witness a major event in the next chapter solidifying MC's resolution and he turn human the next one, leading to one finale chapter and that's it.
