• He does not redeem her, and the MC gets away and lives happily. So at that point, what was the point of making this character be a ragebait pig? You're just creating expectation of a horrible punishment that does not happen.
• He does not redeem her, and we get a bad ending. She doesn't get punished. Then what was the point of the entire manga?
