I mean, he doesn't really have his shit together feelings-wise or even this situation wouldn't have happened. In that sense, yeah, kinda feel bad for him. Sasha is ready to find out what an emotional commitment is like and the guy who wants it most is pussing out and missing out.

I mean, even with him being mindbroken beyond repair and while it totally is okay with him now, his crush does it with hundreds of dudes and is ready to officially actually date other people and tell them she really likes/loves them.

That kinda blurs the line between just a sexfriend, one of her boyfriends and MC. MC is "one step ahead" but everyone mostly is in the same boat still- which in turn makes feeling bad for him not seem insane at all, I think?

Truth is, this manga has only one person you can't feel bad for: Sasha. Oh, and the author for making everything canon and getting away with it.
