From what I understand, 'Hero' is just a title. The MC of the original game holds the title of a Hero, but isn't the only one around.

This raises the question of if the original story's MC is even necessary.

I hope this improves in the coming chapters because right now, the MC is unlikeable "Ohhhh I don#t wanna be involved I want to observe the main story not steal the spotlight from the hero!" what does he do: train himself to max stats and steal the spotlight of the hero with his actions and continue to act like this delusional shit!

I don't mind not wanting to disrupt the main story, but like...you can't go assuming the plot pops into existence as soon as the story starts, dude.

Unless the world itself only exists when the story starts, everything you do has ripple effects.

Oh man. I just got one of the bad guys imprisoned who was part of the story and completely removed him from the position where he would've been causing trouble. I sure hope that I didn't alter the story. Guess I'll lay low a bit after having also altered the lives of main party members. Boy oh boy I sure can't wait not altering the story and being able to just spectate this as an unrecognizable mob character.

Yep, rebooted, checked my keyboard, think its something about the abnormally sized uploaded images combined with attempting to view as a single vertical strip.

Switch to viewing per-image and zoom out to fix the issue.
