So, is the Author hinting at a breakup ? Because at this point, I'm putting all blames on Yamada : she's the one who chose career over relationship and that's her right, no arguments.... but that's also Kyo right to say "F*ck this." and leave her.

I mean, it's already infuriating they have to hide their relationship but at this point, they might just not be dating at all : they spent more time at the beginning of the series without going out compared to now !!

Am I right in thinking that next chapter will be the last one of this volume? It really feels like something major is about to go down, I just hope it’s not a hideous cliffhanger!

wtf? they did make some time for home dates before and now they can't even make that happen? author's got lazy on this one
Last time they talked about their arrangement in chapter 156, when Yamada couldn't hold it anymore. But now they tried a date at the concert and failed. Yamada couldn't handle the fact that Ichikawa came to the concert with Moeko and Kinoshita. Ichikawa seems to suspect that Yamada lied to him about not being able to find him at the concert – he looks skeptical when he reads the text message on page 3. It's basically their first fight as a couple. Both of them just don't have the experience on how to deal with it.

Side note: they not only didn't go on any home dates, they didn't hang out at the library either, which used to be their classic hang out spot.

Well, I will be honest here.
I really hope we get new season of the anime, and it eventually reaches this point so I can get less confused (since I am confused because of the long interval between the chapters and the pace)

Anyone hating on the current situation doesnt have enough life experience, bad shit happens all the time and it FUCKING SUCKS. If you make a big deal out of every situation it blows up in your face, if you dont make a big deal out of every situation it blows up in your face. From what ive interpreted about this manga its a lot of how you want to feel versus how you should feel. These kids are 15(?) years old, expecting any sort of grown up mentality from them is insane. When I was 15 I was dumb as shit, hell even when I was 25 I was dumb as shit.

Kyo clearly understands there a gap between them especially as an aspiring actress/idol/influence/whatever. Yamada understanding the gap but not liking it is the biggest motivator of conflict in this story. What is a story without an interesting conflict? She cannot have her cake and eat it too. Its going to be a miserable lesson to learn.

ichi's being a cuck, but at broader level author probably does not recognize that anna having this career at all is incompatible with reproductive success

some dreams are destructive & need to be crushed
The gender reactionary is here

I think the opposite. I think Yamada is going to quit her job. At the end of last chapter the panel with her and they lyrics " As long as I have you I don't need anything else."

the question is, is kyou ready to say "ok, good" or will he refuse to consider himself worth it?
