The guy got vaporize during the storm
It is why Mashiro did said that "The protagonist is a useless guy who relies on girl for everything, yet for some reason, all the heroine ended up falling for him" so even she is confused, and as the legendary line of great Kagami 20 years ago, "Why are these characters (protagonist) so unconditionally popular"
Not with that attitude 🔥I have said this multiple times: this isn't a harem series.
Suzuna is very submissive, which comes out clearer some times than others. My recommendation to read the series was pretty much that Riri and Suzuna's flaws can make things toxic, even briefly disturbing, yet their flaws balance enough that it's mostly wholesome mutual growth.Kokona's harsh but she's not exactly wrong. Riri is very pushy, after all.
I feel like Kokona, despite her aggressive personality, would fit Suzuna more than Riri who's more of a stalker than anything.
You're getting it! The novel (Suzuna's narration) was even harsher on his passiveness. The manga skipped the worst example of his attitude for now, for good reason as it made him too easy to hate. Are we even sure Shindou is the MC of this game/VN? I haven't played them in a while, but I'm pretty sure the protags of the ones I've played at least do something other than just sit there and wait for a handout every day. Go buy some bread or something. The sheer lack of agency he puts into his own life is, frankly, extremely offputting.
No. Read the novel, it's never even hinted at, it's always about one person.is this actually going to be a harem? i would hope so
This is a pretty common thing in a certain style of VN, which is less popular. They work less as a story about the MC + cast and more as a blank self insert fantasy with waifu/husbando characters. The MC is intentionally as bland and un-interactive as possible to make it as easy as possible to pretend you are the MC. I assume this story is playing off of that with his character. Are we even sure Shindou is the MC of this game/VN? It's not harem, nor is it poly. There's a novel, read it if you don't believe me.I love me a yuri harem. I shall root for the poly ending
Right now it's hinting pretty strongly for a throuple so...No. Read the novel, it's never even hinted at, it's always about one person.
So you're gonna ignore the fact there is a completed novel and instead substitute something that is incorrect? Okay.Right now it's hinting pretty strongly for a throuple so...
I've read a lot of series that don't follow their source material. And right now this feels like it's going that route, so we'll see by the end I guess. It's not harem, nor is it poly. There's a novel, read it if you don't believe me.
This is pretty much exactly how the novel went. Which is not harem or poly.I've read a lot of series that don't follow their source material. And right now this feels like it's going that route, so we'll see by the end I guess.
No, Suzuna knows protag tropes, she just can't accept or acknowledge that she's become the protagonist.Amazing how all knowledge-like tropes in an otome game-i.e. the dynamics between rival love interests, just FLIES OUT of a character's head once they become a protagonist.
