Eito just appeared randomly, maybe to say hi, or maybe he was just going to take a walk at that moment, and Noelle glared at him as if he were a shit stain like thinking "Im spending time with my Kei, fuck off, asshole", are you surprised he desired to stay and go with them after that?
Especially as it wouldn't surprise me if Kei and Eito had already agreed to hang out at least for a while.
Besides, one thing is respecting other people feelings, other to ignore your own. Eito likes Kei, and Kei also likes him, this chapter made it obvious.
It's just a question of who Kei likes more, Eito or Noelle?

but this is the reason why this whole rivalry is so stupid. here we have three friends who have known each other since elementary school, and during this time, both Eito and Noel throw that friendship away without Kei ever knowing about it just because they have a crush on Kei.

obviously they were kids, so kids do and say dumb stuff, but to hold onto this grudge even when they are in high school is so dumb and melodramatic. most people don't remember or care about the crushes they had when they were in second or third grade, so what is the point of Noel going slight yandere (a trait that came out of nowhere), or Eito getting jealous of Noel because she is going to the festival with Kei. it shouldn't matter

plus, because of this romance beef, Kei lost an important friendship that he held on to. he's mentioned back when he was a boy that even though he had a crush on Noel, he wanted to have his friends back more. it seems to me from all this is all three were never friends to begin with.

this is just as bad as the trope of the MC and childhood friend making a promise to be together when they are kids because the childhood friend is moving away then the childhood friend gets angry at the MC for forgetting it.

Can't say what's the plan of the Translators for this series but majority that I know of are dropping their respective series or waiting it out to see other options cuz we can't upload the later chapters here and doubt creating our own site for titles which we know are niche at best is a good idea knowing we may get DMCA'd or just straight up get no traffic and lose money on it.
