I'm guessing that MC gave a list of names of members of the family that brought them ruin with scandals, someone the maid trust investigated and discovered what was getting covered up, I don't know if MC even put what they did but if he rememebered their names is likely he did even for their crimes.
If the only thing they know is that a normal kid that is friend of a ousted member of the family was able to get that info it would scare them, that a actual journalist could d the same with even more ease, silencing the kid would be useless as it would be unlikely he got that info on his own, so...let's treat his friend better.
Or maybe the maid used it as leverage to make so she would get some more freedom, but the possibility of the scandaless top members using her for apolitical marriage stays, so engage her wiht someone, that would make her status as "pawn" lower.
Through MC note they could still find the black sheeps and put them somewhere where they will not hurt the family name, or cover up the crimes better, but still would have the fear of getting discovered.
there are several possibilities, I can't pinpoint one with just 3 chapters.

After zooming and enhancing page 14, I think you can make out a bit of what MC wrote on the paper:

I really like how in this one, the trope of her falling for him after he narrowly saves her isnt as usual.

Theres actual history between them and he(with future knowledge) just happened to be there at the right time. Though this time he saved her from despair.

IM CALLING IT! IT WASNT AN ACCIDENT BUT SHE COMMITED SUICIDE
Grim, but I 100% agree with you. She probably was looking for a way out based on what she said. What really hits the point home was the maid saying, "I should have just taken her and ran." Cowabummer

In the WN, that's exactly what is written in the paper, it's the names of the people and company who all involved themselves in corruption and those types of crimes. But in here, it appears that the editor and mangaka decided to skip it since those people don't appear to matter that much in the story aside from being extra info

Yes, I decided to check some of the novel myself.
MC gave them a list with many names, but feared it not being useful as they were all scandals in the future, thankfully the one that got the list was competent, the girl grandmother, and as she was already have her eyes on some of their names she investigated more and discovered some had indeed created problems, not everyone, but that was enough.
MC had even written the girl father name, he didn't knew who he was and was surprised from it.
The grandmother accepted MC info because the girl mother was friend with the MC one, so they thought his mom had investigated personally to help the heroine, as the 2 mothers had promised each other.
The thing makes sense because they would think MC and his mom had talked about it and he only had the names and the mother had the data.
I think that the chapter with the grandma will cover the names and stuff.

So you’ve read the wn? Quick Que regarding the maid question about becoming fiancé. Is this going to be a will they or will they not slug fest or does he accept and plot goes from there.

Haha, I guess the stuff that lead to scandals already happened.

Considered what happened in the first timeline, revealing all this information at once is basically capable of destroying the entire family within a week, so he really did hand the maid an ultimate weapon.
