I do hope the author does. it'd break my suspension of disbelief if she could beat someone twice her weight (especially as a woman). even mighty mouse isn't able to do so irlI wonder if the author actually is going to realistic approach. I’m probably being way to optimistic but it’d definitely be interesting how it affects her.
The best way would be to dodge it. Second best is to deflect it. However, it looks like she took the full brunt with the way her body is positioned after the impact. I agree with what you said—no matter how I like Rikudou—there’s no way she’ll get away unscathed.Be real here, even Bruce Lee said he can't take a punch from Ali in their respective primes.
Physics doesn't care about about human beliefs or human mental problems. If the mass and acceleration is there, the force is gonna go right through. And as with all fighting memes, wrestlers and grapplers are tops in 1v1 as long they don't get knocked out. Frankly, even her fight with the last guy was stretching reality at best.
If the mangaka is serious about putting a "believable" exchange here, her elbow or forearm will catch a part of the jab to absorb the shock, but that's more likely to pop an elbow out and/or leave a nasty bruise.
If you guys need a real life example of 2 pro fighters punching it out in the same ring at unequal weights, look up Floyd Mayweather KO'ing Tenshin Natsukawa at Rizin 14 (2023).
for how she was falling (she took the fist and clearly had the pivot leg under her control), I bet she kicked him on the chin or the family jewels (or precise point in the abdomen), it seriously look more like she knew how to fall and take less damage from the actual jab, hopefully not 0, it would be boring if she curbstomp the championHuh. I was going to say the outcome was surprising, but I don't think she actually got hit, much less knocked out. I hope the next chapter surprises me (though I doubt it).
Thanks for the chapter!
