Really, the only gripe I ever have with this story, is how God literally (yes, actually literally) forces the MC to go down "the bad path".
MC wants to go down the route of a more affable, "good" path? God makes sure his only option is to be a walking plague. Just fucking why?
And from what I recall from the novel, it only gets worse. At every given evolution moment the MC is always "forced" to take an option he has no choice but to take at the moment, which steers him further away from being a being that can be around people and other creatures. It's just a maddening shitty story in that sense.
But in all other regards -- the characters are fun, the world is vibrant enough, the villains are a touch too much, but it's all fine.

The only downside is fucking with the MC's choices to create DrAMa.
This is the quintenssential manga for "skim read it and don't think about it too much".

First there was slime, then there was spider, now its dragon.... Coming up next?
The slime wasn't the first (far from it), but it was the first to reach that amount of fame on the international level.

There are dozens of reincarnations races (not counting their evolution races) like Goblin, Fish, Spirit, Virus, Elf, Alien, Demon, etc. If you consider one-shots, the rabbit hole goes deeper than Wonderland itself and straight to hell.

The thing is whatever talks to him is not "GOD", but something else that wants something very bad to happen, and needs a physical assistant. On that matter anything powerful is ok with it, be it human or monster as long as it can be manipulated with "Voice of God".
If you have been reading the manga there´s zero spoiler in my post.

At first I even found it interesting, but when I saw that the character had all the aspects to be a destructive tyrant, but chose to be a cute little dragon as if he were a 5-year-old child, I totally freaked out.

The author seems to want to write a story for children, I'm definitely not the audience for this work.

Dropped.

I was wondering whether this manga is worth reading since there a lot of negative reviews on wn page, yet there was a mention that this manga started to deviate from the wn trajectory/story. Are thery any peeps willing to share their experience?

If ya haven't noticed.

The bad guy likes being famous.
He plans on fighting the "evil" dragon for show xD.

Aight, I'll drop it then :pepehmm:

xD don't just go with strangers opinion. Give it a chance, some people like stuff others dont.
Like how i dislike the "summoned to another world with a smartphone" or similar stupid harem animes. But somehow they're so popular...

While good stuff gets pushed into the bin.

this is so odd... i remember reading quite a lot of chapters from this, up to a point where mc literally went to some lala land and the writing changed genre from fantasy to surrealism or even downright dementia, when i dropped it. but now i come back and theres just 2 new chapters that i've not read, and when i check them i've actually read them, and they're quite early relative to the others i've read...

I originally liked the story but the more I comeback and realize he really isn't getting much stronger and it annoys me.

better than the average power fantasy isekai where the MC is stronger than everyone and never loses

Y'all might think I'm silly for this but I started losing interest around when the MC got huge. Though an MC not being overpowered is something I basically never complain about, with the drastic change in size it was jarring how there wasn't really a palpable change in his power to accompany it - he was still getting tossed around and barely surviving. Past a certain point, it's not dramatic, it's just exhausting.

I could tolerate it with the existing cast around him, but then the author decided the best way to transition to the next arc was a goddamn "lost at sea" hard reset of the cast in the span of a couple pages.

It's clumsy and amateurish "oh but I wanna write this now instead" narrative structure, but above all I do not appreciate my time and investment as a reader being wasted. As far as I'm concerned the story ends before he randomly teleports to a fucking desert, because I'm not going to bother trudging through stuff I don't have any interest in just waiting to resolve threads the author cut for nothing more than a change of scenery.

TL;DR: After her introduction, he quality of a given chapter is directly proportional to the number of times the black lizard appears in it. Therefore, drop it after chapter 19.
