I want our MC to be happy but every time I read this I can't help but feel he's gonna be given the more tragic ending I have seen in modern manga.

There’s prob sexual thrill/satisfaction from corrupting a normal guy

Someone said it best, and they think the end game is to recreate a prior relationship between the mother and what could possibly be her dad/step dad. Her daughter could of been the end result of that romance with her father. Even though, it didn't work out for her, she wants to make it work for her daughter, so she can live through her daughter vicariously, at least until her death, which might be coming down the road. It makes sense as to why they vetted other guys before they decided to stick with mc, because they were not looking for a quick fuck, they wanted a good guy who would give the happy ending with her daughter, that the mother couldn't have.

I think if it does turn out like what was predicted above, I feel like it won't be a happy ending. I feel like karma is going to get back at the daughter somehow, or mc will be killed.

edit: I quickly looked at the author's previous work, it leaves me some hope for the mc.

Chapter 14.5 had them cleaning up and burning man's clothes and "choosing the next one" so MC is not the first guy. Other extra chapter said Touko always spend her summer somewhere "secret". I guess they pick a guy who looks like mom's crush (stepdad?), go with him to some secluded summer house, hit him with "you have to breed my daughter" and kill him if he refuses? Or maybe they are crazy occultists and try to resurrect mom's dead crush by killing dudes who kinda look like him. I wonder how they never got caught if they kill a dude every year though

The MC is shocked because his sister said something nasty about him not having kids while he thinks she knew she was pregnant - basically lording it over him despite the fact he really wants a child. The daughter cares because they've manipulated a rift between the siblings by telling the sister that Hiroto wasn't as hurt by her comments as he was, so she would announce her pregnancy and upset him. The siblings never actually talked after their fight so nothing was really resolved between them directly. The sister's child is from the affair she had.

To add to this, it's pretty implied (unless I'm actually farted) that the first kid is also the result of an affair from the same guy this second kid is from

So basically, they want to recreate the original "dadi." They’re tryin’ to groom him into wanting to have a kid. Since the beginning, everything’s led to that. You can see the hint when she asks the sister about whether the kid looks like his dad. And you can see the real grooming when the daughter says stuff like, "The baby is a girl, so they can be good brothers"—both of them plantin’ the idea of him wanting a boy. This shit is good. I think the daughter sees the guy as her "dadi"'s recipient, and she just wants to help him get out into the world again. That’s why she looks so creepy and happy while watchin’ him.
