This arc started well, but this chapter made it feel a bit contrived.

Queen assumes immediately that Flio will side with demons? Why? Because he has a demon wife? Even though he has supported both sides up until now?

The Kingdom that has never heard of half-bloods, nor has it ever been mentioned or discussed before in the manga, suddenly two babies that are half-blood are born, a demon has a half-blood sister out of nowhere?

Imo they should’ve waited with introducing other half-bloods after more development around that issue and the babies had grown a few years first.

Because he didn't explicitly say he'd side with her instead. The thought that him and his group are true neutrals seemingly cannot take root in her mind even after all their actions as the Wolves of Justice to prevent casualties on BOTH sides.

As for the idiot with a half-blood sister, did she really think that killing the Queen would make people accept her sister? Most would probably take her sister's head to get her to fight them to prove her strength. And I know MC won't do this but he could literally become the Sword of Damocles for both sides(with his wide range purification magic for the demons, and his divine magic for the humans) but I know that fear of him won't create the environment and world he wants his kids to live and prosper in. Although if he gets too frustrated he can dip out with Teleportation magic, lol.

She's considering the worst case scenario where Flio have to pick a side.

1. The humans tried to kill him earlier after summoning him. He might not mind it anymore but to her that's still a factor to take into account.
2. His wife is a demon, and in a human vs demon total war he's more likely to protect his family i.e. side with demons.

The new demon girl having half-blood sibling isn't that contrived.
We literally just got that doctor who help giving birth to half-demons.
Since he's known for his field it suggest there's been enough cases for him to actually make a reputation of it.

if I'm not mistaken, main problem in that world is that demons only survive on miasma, while that is hurtful for humans too, so full coexistence is hard af, MC is trying to solve that at the moment.
