Canva isn't a good choice to typeset manga. Using a software you admit can't be used to typeset some of the text in the chapter is going to lead to issues, since I know there is significate out of bubble text later on in this manga that you won't be able to omit without issues. Most people use Photoshop they happened to find for free somewhere.

You need to improve your typesetting. The color of the cleaned text bubbles doesn't match the same as the original so it looks like someone just colored it in with a different color rather than being like the original text bubble. Also, the default comic sans is pretty egregious. The least you could do is try using similar fonts to the previous scanlator.

i noticed it too, but considering it was their first time, I think they did a pretty good job. plus idk about you, but i'd much rather have slightly wonky typesetting that i barely notice than being left hanging without any further updates. in the future, if you're going to try to provide constructive feedback, the least you could do is try to be kind about it.
