Well, it's a shame, but I cannot say I am surprised with how much the relationship and even the plot kept dragging on, going in circles, and the both of them being stupid and stupider. People are bound to get sick and lost interest after a whole year of no progression in practically all fronts, and with this axe news, it even makes me think that the only reason things started to go anywhere was because of the impending axe.

To be fair this manga did just throw out the main source of conflict from the premise, being that the MC is a gyaru and can't respectfully talk to nobles. Turns out the love interest likes her that way and you can't harm a noble's reputation when it's already rock bottom. There is only so much drama you can mine from "I love you but I have to marry for politics" before having to delve into soap opera territory.

I guess it makes sense.
This series is very similar to “I favor the villainess” series.. where both the love interests are off Noble origins and the MCs start by serving them.
Claire and Amelia are too proud to accept their true feelings towards the MC, and the MC has too much of an inferiority complex to believe they deserve their respective love interest..
plus I felt Amelia was too much of a high maintenance love interest. She only shows kindness to Serena, way too envious of Serina’s aloofness.. I am not why but I really liked Claire far better.. there were times, she was more straightforward with her emotions..
but yeah, it’s a shame another yuri series met axe-kun..
