Unironically great growth from shima. At the beginning of this story, the most she would’ve reacted to a confession would’ve been “huh weird let’s ignore that” but instead she’s choosing to face it head on and grow into someone who can properly acknowledge adachi’s feelings

its a side story in the light novel so i dont know the detales..
i hope at the very least there will be a reason ( like her dog died in the near future but adachi died at an old age) or somth like that..
