I mean, he was raised as a noble so would have been taught a good amount of diplomacy. And there is a difference between human diplomacy and demon diplomacy. So his ideas could be ones they would not know of. As well as that remember that Cain is much older mentally, with both past life and the whole training for many years and then made young again, training with the founder king of a nation. So as far as diplomatic teaching and knowledge he would in fact have a lot more knowledge than most.

That said a demon king should have more than him when dealing with demons. The demon princess I am not so sure, it sounds a lot like she is rather inexperienced.

Rather the author seems to be very bad at writing diplomatic or any in depth politics, which limits the characters.

Paranoia. He'll make an average demon king. But if he has the power to marry her away, he either has enough power over her to force her to not take the throne, or she can go against him and it doesn't matter anyway, other than just pissing her off.

Most wives aren't because of him, but because of people like the king pushing them onto him. Also, not yet.

First he's saying he'll go there with Liz and Set, then the king is concerned he'll go alone, and Liz offers to go with him. That doesn't make sense.

Pretty demon maid. Demons also have class.

He really likes to praise Cain to the ceiling, break it, and raise him to the skies. Cain doesn't like it quite as much.

How come Cain didn't expect to have to show his power to a people who only believes in strength? Is he that dense? I thought that kind of denseness was mostly aimed at girls.

Alright, considering there'll be quite a while 'til the next chapter is posted here, I'm just gonna put a spoiler for the next chapter based on the webnovel:

Alright, so they'll go to the coast, and Seto will ask cain to use his power on an island quite far away but is still within sight from the coast. The island itself is a place where monsters inhabit, and when they become too many then they get culled by demons from Seto's country.
So the island is uninhabited by people, and occasionally becomes a problem to be dealt with by Seto's country; hence why it was chosen.

So what Cain does is try a Supreme magic from that magic book left by Yuuya, which Yuuya created the spell for. It ends up summoning a meteor from the sky and annihilates the island, thus convincing all of those who witnessed it. This is where I suspect that the next chapter will end, and since this spoiler is only for the next chapter I'm gonna end it here.
