Im a bit confused on the going back to heaven thing. they act like they want their halos back so they can return. but lierre can already take them back whenever she wants, but hasn't done it cuz their on the heavens kill list for being with demons.

I don't think this is the end of the series -- Machikado Mazoku as a series does have a tendency to change the status quo regularly when certain running gags become more sad than funny. I've said for years that Jashin-chan ought to do something similar to stay fresh.

And on that note, Pekora deserves this W. Not just for her hard work, but how much she's opening her heart to other people regardless of their divinity or lack thereof. I hope she gets to keep the halo and this isn't just one big yanking of the chain.
