IIRC he literally just wanted to kiss her in a moment he thought was the set up for the next step in their relationship, instead her GF freaked out leaving him shocked.
Also from what I've read on FB from the WN the EX just sperged and regretted the break up because literally every men after him was exactly was what she thought MC was so she wanted to come back together only to find out her sister went "nope, you dumped him, he's mine now, go away shush" which basically shocks her at how poor of eye she (EX) was and eventually turns yandere as nobody is willing to go after her; she kinda has an inferiority complex too because the good genes went to her younger sister which makes her realize that MC never was into his EX for her body (that's what she thought and the reason she dumped him) and now the sister with the superior body AND true love has MC all for her which makes her seethe in dispair and jealousy.

Man, then chapter 3 skipped A FUCKING LOT cuz it never got to that part. They just show up in school, the EX sister sees the younger sister and THATS when the younger one goes "nope, you dumped him, he's mine now, go away shush". No mention that the sister tried dating other dudes... Unless u forgot to mention she's lesbian

In the R18 WN (the author's self-proclaimed "full version"), she's not only lesbian, she's lesbian only for her twin who she thinks made a pact with her to be together forever (which kinda happened before they were split up in a divorce). But she doesn't really get that part; she only consciously knows she wants a partner but doesn't want a guy to touch her (and breaks out in hives if one does; that's what happens in the scene where she clocks ML).

Dunno what's gonna happen in this version yet, though, naturally.
