Faye end game is still so weird because even in her own hypothetical Qiao Lin and Hesha are together and commoners which sounds fine and they probably be happy still. Wouldn't the play to cause discontent between the two in other ways like lies or cheating?
Yeah that was my thinking as well but issue lies with Hesha being with Qiao. If Faye wants Hesha to suffer and lose everything shouldn't that also include Qiao? Faye has to realize that Qiao could make Hesha happy. Because the only thing I could think of for Faye is that Hesha would be unhappy despite being with Qiao which seems shortsightedBecause to Faye, Hesha would lose everything else and Faye view those as more important than 'true love'
The luxury of noble life
Authority of being a noble
Any noble friends she had are unlikely to maintain contact, or at least not to the same degree.
Heck as commoner Hesha would then new to show deference to Faye, something that I imagine she feels elated just imagining.

This is one area where Faye differs from past Hesha.Yeah that was my thinking as well but issue lies with Hesha being with Qiao. Okay yeah i get that. Faye wants Hesha to be out of the picture and using whole gay angle as a way to achieve that. The end result of the gay scandal is irrelevant as long as Hesha is out of the family. I just can't shake this feeling that this angle is more for plot sake than Faye sake if you understand what I meanThis is one area where Faye differs from past Hesha.
- Faye has been conditioned to treat any conflict or comparison with Hesha as a zero-sum power game. She hates her sister for taking up space and not being good enough for her and the family. She'll do anything to get rid of Hesha, but she cares about power more than sadism. Jolene is irrelevant to her except as a tool against Hesha's position.
- Hesha was always more concerned with her self-esteem and survival than power. Past Hesha was savage to reinforce her worldview of herself as a noble compared to commoners, the way her father and sister view others as objects. She's very lucky to have snapped out of it but I wanna see her mean streak again.
I'm not sure if I know what you mean?Okay yeah i get that. Faye wants Hesha to be out of the picture and using whole gay angle as a way to achieve that. It's along the lines of Feya's action of saying the two are together only serves to help qiao and hesha relationship in the story and not hurt. I feel she could have gone a different route to accomplish much of the same end goal.I'm not sure if I know what you mean?
Faye is kinda an idiot, which for sure furthers the main plot. She's a brat at the Fuck Around stage, and going to Find Out. The only person willing and able to help her if (when) something goes wrong is a queer feminist with predatory lesbian vibes. My view is Faye is getting tangled in the main themes over time.
Does it really count if she's unintentionally doing it? Anything positive coming out of Faye's shit-stirring will be in spite of it, not because. It's along the lines of Feya's action of saying the two are together only serves to help qiao and hesha relationship in the story and not hurt. In others words she's too much of a wingman for my liking
Yeah she can't do anything too evil since she probably get caught and a redemption arc is probably also coming. So the plan she had would both cause the most positive outcome without feeling too out of character since it's still outing at the end of the dayDoes it really count if she's unintentionally doing it? Also, not sure how much of a viable route Faye had outside of this. Her outright lying would probably be caught quicker and backfire on her.
