Sounds like it's a living sword, maybe some kind of soul eating one that devour the target by inflicting them with nightmares.

But inside the mind, strength of will is usually what determines who wins so...rip sword.

Then by 'eating' the sword, Sol will probably regenerate Odo that way and can finally beat the guy proper.

I find the "fight" funny.
The Hero is still underestimating the MC hence he keeps doing "mostly" fatal attacks but not "deadly" attacks (he is carrying a big ass sword).
And if the MC is really the "God of War" in their previous life, MC still has a lot of chances that he could've turned the tables on the Hero but no, he always needs to get grabbed by the hair or head.

FYI, "thou" was the familiar or diminutive form of the more polite "you," (With the notable exception of "thou" being exclusively singular, leading to the Christian God being referred to as such to emphasize that there's only one of him) so it's a bit odd to translate Sol's fancy speak like that. In modern English what you've written would be equivalent to something like "Oh, so you're that Lord Bogart Rumholt, then?"

I'd focus more on the specific wording, with something like "You must be Lord Bogart Rumholt, if I be not mistaken?" rather than trying to get it across with purely word choice like the original Japanese does. The ways formality registers work in English and Japanese are just radically different, after all.
