Wow... i severely understmated Ouhi's capacties, i mean... i knew she was much stronger than she acts up, and that strenght was kinda nerfed by her own mental weaknesses, but clearly... she didnt became the leader only because of being a good teacher.

But if this follows the concepts of "restriction and reward" and "biding vows", this Soul Shrine doesn't really have any true offensive or even defensive capacity, I think... she is using it to link everyone's minds, and maybe... cause dilation of time perception to try and exhaust the energy reserves of the minor curses.

Barrier having limited time "manipulation" effects depending on the restrictions imposed by the caster is pretty common, using JJK as an example... there is a character that has a Domain Expansion, but it has no offensive or even defensive ability, it doesn't even forcefully enclose people, someone has to accept the invitation to be entraped, but inside it, time flows differently.

I won't say what the theme of the domain is for those that haven't read it yet, but it is a pretty funny domain, quite harmless too, but it had a big impact in a certain character.

But now... I am scared of one thing... that maybe the one that kills Ouhi is... Sunao... oh man, i hope not, ignoring for a moment if Sunao can recover from whatever fuckery the shithead that kidnapped her is doing to her, she would be devastated if she is the one to do it.

That’s my biggest fear at this point and I feel like Kazuya is gonna be the one to save her and clean those tattoos off of her skin while she is unconscious. Once she wakes up and hears from Kazuya or Kiriha on what she did she will be devastated but Kazuya’s will reassure her that it wasn’t her fault and I feel like she will direct all the blame onto Wagou for what her did to her, her brother and all the other people he tattooed and hurt.

I also want another arc where after Sunao makes a full recovery we have a Kazuya and Sunao adventure where they hunt down curse allies and that government dude and Sunao gets her revenge or justice on Wagou.

The split thing basically means she is 2 people with different personality. One of them will die, and that will suck, as she won't be back anymore. Only the other one left.

I hope not especially for Sunao. It’s most likely Kazuya will save her and bathe her to remove those Tattoos. After Sunao recovers I hope this humbles her and she becomes less impulsive

Sunao will be fine, I doubt the tattoo will be an actual problem for her considering she is one of the main female characters. Oriobana tho, she is a side character, so I guess casualty it is.

I agree. But I’m hoping for a Kazuya and Sunao arc where they team up to rescue Arumi, hunt down some curse allies and Wagou himself as that will be personal for Sunao and she won’t make the same mistake again.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view), Tsugumomo is one of those shonen manga where the heroes don’t die. As we saw with Kiriha and the goddess (I forgot her name), even if Ouhi has died, they’ll probably bring her back later. Personally, I’m not a big fan of this mechanic in shonen manga where characters can be resurrected. But unfortunately, this is the most common. Still, I think it takes away a lot of the tension.

Yeah, we severely need arcs with the other exorcists growing too.

I like Sunao, Suguru, and many others, seeing Bonouto's tsugu was a treat in this chapter, she has a very particular type and she knows how to use it, there is a lot of good moments that could be constructed on her alone.
