This manga has really good art, and the significant emotional moments between the main couple are well-executed. The problem is that literally everything is just non-stop overly sugary sweetness all the time. And not just between the main couple, but between all the characters. All the characters are just so insanely fond of each other that it leaves room for nothing else. Every single chapter, over and over, they keep declaring how much they like each other and how touched and moved they are by how sweet and amazing and kind everyone else is, and they just all really super duper believe in each other. It's TOO MUCH. The author clearly knows how to write carthartic scenes like this, but they'd be much more effective if she built up to them gradually rather than just lay it on thick constantly. Now, rather than be touched, I just feel like my suspension of disbelief is broken. If people acted like the characters in this story do in real life, it would feel super weird. I was sort of hoping that it'd tone it down after the initial group of friends resolved things between each other, but 70 chapters in and it's still the same thing. I can't take it anymore at this point.

i get that drama makes for a better history, but if you belive the people dont act like that specially if they are friends you should broaden your horizons in terms of people, find the friends who would do that type of sh*t for you and that you can do it for them. the human capacity for good its not a lie and i am more sick of the cliché of the misunderstandings because there is no real communication

The villain’s origin story is about to begin, and then the teacher cries and regrets what she did, and then three chapters laters of them glazing the boys again.
