That I wouldn't know. We need a Yuu POV for that. And you do agree with me that he hasn't always loved Hikari, right?
Otherwise. Basing a person's love on their celibacy is weird and incel-y

I repeat. It's not a Hikari problem as their past relationship is affecting current relationships in the present (both romantic and friendship).
If we talking about the kiss, That's totally Yami's fault.
If we just talking about the fact Yuu and Yami were in a relationship. That's a Hikari problem.
Good. So Yuu date someone else then. And that's not Hikari's problem. No one is saying Yuu should have pined away as a virgin and hoped that Hikari would give him the time of day.
Very b/c it's her best friend and her close childhood friend and therefore they were inevitably gonna meet, which is exactly what happened. How involved is she?
I love how the author has the decisions Yami and Yuu try to make for Hikari backfire. Like both these chapters have Hikari trying to speak Aya and Yuu's languages - here she pushes Aya to say her feelings, last chapter she tried to give Yuu space until he confessed. And even then like she told him he was worthy of her and loved, which to me doesn't sound like she thinks having a past makes him a bad person. She very specifically limits her rejection to the lying. The reason it's so wrong that Yuu and Yami kept secrets from Hikari is it goes to show that they don't trust Hikari to do the right thing. They are refusing to give her any agency in the confession.
I don't think "Being acquainted with both parties" counts a "very".Very b/c it's her best friend and her close childhood friend and therefore they were inevitably gonna meet, which is exactly what happened.
her best friend and her close childhood friend
Nah more like Hikari doesn’t deserve himI think i need to see the next chapter to confirm my theory, but i think its more of she doesn't want to even start a relationship, or really discuss the possibility of a relationship with yuu when she clearly knows theres undisclosed feelings/tensions between yuu and hikari, and she doesn't want to do anything until that is settled.
I still don't want her to be in a relationship with him, he doesn't deserve her, but hikari is an angel and too good for everyone
Based on the fact that he dated Yami, plus what he said during his confession, either he was lying to Hikari about always loving her, or he never loved Yami and just used her for sex. Or maybe you could say he loved them both at the same time lol. Either way, he's not innocent. That I wouldn't know. We need a Yuu POV for that.
Otherwise. Basing a person's love on their celibacy is weird and incel-y
Then that's Hikari's problem. and if the exes didn't explain before. they have a right to complain afterwards. They're friends now and you typically don't date a friend's ex without getting their blessing. It doesn't matter how long ago they dated. It's an unspoken rule.
I think I'm getting some wires crossed. Both Yuu and Yami knew not telling Hikari was wrong based on their reactions. Yami was crying in the rain the moment she found out about Yuu being Hikari's crush. She absolutely kept it hidden because she was afraid Hikari wouldn't be friends with her anymore. Yuu didn't bother to share any of this information with Hikari and in the brief moment in Chapter 39 where we get his POV we see that he realizes he was wrong and was awful to her.
Are supposed to list every ex you have before talking to your "target of affection".The reason it's so wrong that Yuu and Yami kept secrets from Hikari is it goes to show that they don't trust Hikari to do the right thing. They are refusing to give her any agency in the confession.
I repeatTheir past relationship directly affects all three of them in the present.
Because "Yuu-wise" that just a past relationship. If we talking about the kiss, That's totally Yami's fault.
If we just talking about the fact Yuu and Yami were in a relationship. That's a Hikari problem.
Because love can be a slightly more complicated feeling than just "if I love one person, I stop being in love with anyone else".He said he's always loved Hikari since childhood. No, obviously not. He dated Yami for half a year - how can he claim he's always loved Hikari since childhood? How can you say this isn't a lie?
Yup. "Celibate or you don't love me".Based on the fact that he dated Yami
Unless there was rape or cheating involvement. Pretty sure their clean on that front.he never loved Yami and just used her for sex.......
Okay, if you want to playYup. "Celibate or you don't love me".
I don't think she realises it tbh. As much as she is a ray of sunshine in contrast to these two fuck ups she's also fucked up in her own way by being TOO pure and thus unable to understand that having this chat with Aya rn won't result in anything good (which she still wants for everyone).I sincerely hope she does. I hope she becomes the type of character who knows kindness can hurt and uses it (while still being actually kind).
But until we know for sure, I will have to assume that Hikari is still being her naive kind angelic self from before. Which is my main gripe with her as a character.
There is no other answer I can give to the same question.Okay, if you want to play
again. It's simply a lie, and unfortunately for him, Hikari called him out on it directly.
again. For not telling the truth. That he hasn't always loved her, why do you think Hikari would call him a liar though?
again. You really don't understand or you don't want to understand? He said he's always loved Hikari since childhood. No, obviously not. He dated Yami for half a year
again.because his lie was called out directly.
And you do agree with me that he hasn't always loved Hikari, right?
again.Based on the fact that he dated Yami,
note: all of these is about Yuu dating Yami beforehand. But he messed up because his lie was called out directly.
Because you've just been defending him by ignoring what Yuu himself was saying, I'm just trying to emphasize that point. There is no other answer I can give to the same question.
Dude. You literally just giving the same point again.
Yes. becauseBecause you've just been defending him by ignoring what Yuu himself was saying, I'm just trying to emphasize that point.
Prove that it isn't. or Prove that it's right to do so.Basing a person's love on their celibacy is weird and incel-y
Agree but she's not merely acquainted w/ Aya and Yuu, she's enmeshed w/ them. She half lives at Yuu's house and like half the time she's not with him she's w/ Aya. Please troll better, this is making me feel dumb.I don't think "Being acquainted with both parties" counts a "very".
If you date someone, then you are in love with them. Simple and easy. Can you date someone while still loving someone else? Technically, you can, but if you do so then you are not innocent.Yes. because
Prove that it isn't. or Prove that it's right to do so.
And that's it. Quibbling about the descriptor/ reiterating. not giving more reason she's involved like.Agree but she's not merely acquainted w/ Aya and Yuu, she's enmeshed w/ them.
I have nothing to do with that.this is making me feel dumb.
i think Hikari is kinda stuck though in that she figures she's gotta have it out w/ Aya b/f Aya has a chance to run away. Like Aya needs it to happen now to know that Hikari cares.having this chat with Aya rn won't result in anything good (which she still wants for everyone).
B/c that's the reason - she's involved because she's enmeshed w/ them to the degree where their relationship has already started to affect her. Yuu was wavering on going to the festival, Aya hid the whole time, Yuu wasn't there when she was looking for him, Aya is clearly not ok w/ Yuu and Hikari dating, and Hikari's two most important people can't be in the same room w/ each other.Quibbling about the descriptor/ reiterating. not giving more reason she's involved like.
