This is so good, relatively speaking. It doesn't harp on the same thing over and over and use the same trope for the entire duration. MC actually go places and isn't a beta cuck. He has the initiative and will go see through whatever he's got his minds on. And the characters are relatively believable. They aren't completely 1 dimensional, but y'know, close. It's a great fluffy feel-good read. Highly recommended if you're trying to find a casual read.

Decent overall with a very solid artstyle. The FMC is drawn beautifully.

Maybe I will follow MC for simping her.

chapter 27 : I tried longer since the rating was high and the translator said chapter 11+ are great but I still can't see how this in a 8+ rating on mangadex... the world building is blurry at best, the characters are pretty lackluster. The romance, the part that is apparently supposed to be the main focus of this story can't even be called good by any romance standard... just a waste of time in my opinion, not recommended but get your own review of it if you have time, the FL art style is very pretty though.

It's not the worst... but also not great. If you're able to set aside issues with the baffling lack of common sense for the premise, it's a sort of fluffy air-headed manga good for wasting some time. I can only guess that the high rating is due to the art for the receptionist, the cute dragon child, and maybe the "comedy"?

The main issue is that the story tries to portray his love as comedic and awkward, but it just comes across as delusional and creepy. He's spent 10 years fantasizing how his married life with her would be like, and gone way, way overboard with what he's purchased for his future wife (and their children)...But he's put no effort into actually getting to know her on his own. It takes a secondary character telling him outright hints, plus very obvious plot meddling from the author in order to get any progression.
If we ignore his delusions he's outwardly respectable, as the one thing going for him is that he doesn't hesitate to help other people.

In reality, his delusions and obsessive gift collections are way more likely to freak out the girl of his affections. But as this is a manga, she obviously likes him back, and the plot is actively pushing them together, so lucky for him that hurdle is cleared preemptively.

Haven't read through a whole chapter yet, but i am disappointed that the receptionist looks like a typical saint heroine.

Ppl like guild receptionist for tgeir work hair, hospitable professional manner, beauty but not all perfect appearance. We like receptionist cause we love Underdogs.
This receptionist looks like saint heroine put on receptionist uniform

middest of the mids. This is basicaly that one low calorie snack you eat in between dinner times.

Still readable but it made me feel like I wasted my time. Characters feel shallow, story is unimportant, no humor, no real depth to the main character's relation, Every character is like a child there is no depth to them, story progression is too linear etc...

The premise of an adventurer being in love with the receptionist wasn't executed properly. It lacks in every regard but somehow manages to hold up, barely.

My recommendation? Don't read this. There are so many other good snack romance series.

This one is sooo good it makes you want more and more, Its one of the cutest manga's and it progressed very good.

It is also one of the rare times where the main characters actually date/ acknowledge that they love each other and say it confidently consistently.
I give this a 8/10
