Also that is not a name, unless she said it in the dragon language and Jade didn't get it so it translates to something else and the author meant for the reader to be just as confused as Jade.
If she takes Jade up on his offer she would be well protected and could live comfortably, there are no downsides for her. So she better have a better reason for refusing than "muh drama".
