Ah, but did we NEED to go isekai trope with probably (hopefully not) white lotus OGFL? I feel like this series didn't need it, cuz now we're just going down a predictable plot of the isekai person not being the original and that same kind, caring person, etc etc. For such a unique start to the series I hope it manages something new out of this.

Making the OGFL the new antagonist is, unfortunately, the most convenient option for these types of stories. It would've been a lot more interesting if the OGFL was a regressor who was wary of the villainess because she remembered everything she did pre-regression.
Shout out to these manga/manhwa for not making OGFL an antagonist:
Not-sew-wicked stepmother
Father I don't want this marriage
From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!
Villainess Level 99 ~I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord~
Beware the Villainess!
A Wicked Tale of Cinderella's Stepmom
My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!
Young Lady Albert is Courting Disaster

I'm just wondering why it's so common for the "heroines" to be so surprised when the "villainess" isn't acting the same as in the game.
They never think that they could be reincarnated too (or here, regressed), and it's kinda funny but also very ironic.
They can't comprehend the fact that one is acting different because of circumstances.

I understand being surprised that it's not happening the same way that it was in the game, but here it's kinda late for this. Rachel was not present at the beginning, as she should have been, so why are you expecting your first meeting to be the same as in the game?

Why cant we get just one story where the 'heroine' isnt a sociopath bitch. Like seriously its  every single time
Well about that, I recommend sticking around with this particular 'heroine'

One of my brother's cats got into a bag of treats his co-worker gave him and was eating a sugar cookie quite happily. Thus he was renamed Cookie Monster. Funny enough, he's a black cat too.

After reading the spoiler from last chapter comment section it's a bit weird seeing all the comments above
:kek:
I thought you were talking about the friend at first but after checking the spoilers yeah it's really funny reading these comments.

So the heroine was originally, it seems, her own unique person - as we can see with her being friends with many people, girls included originally - but going back in time has made the heroine a isekai'd possessed person.
So I wonder what happened to the original heroine then? Is she in the isekai'd person's body back in our world, or what?

It always frustrates me a little attention is given to this detail with isekais, because it's just ripe for expanding up; particularly in a sort of body horror direction. You've been possessed and have everything taken from you, and no one even realises!
Imagine a comic where the brother of a heroine or villainess realises that they've been possessed, and acts in the background to find a way to exorcise them, all the while they watch as everyone fawns over the new version of their 'sibling' - or what if this isekai'd person ruins their siblings life, and they have to act before it's too late to save any remnant of their sibling's life, etc.
Anyway, no point in just spitballing ideas that aren't going to be used in these comics. :pout:
