power dungeon looks like manga Dungeon ni Hisomu Yandere na Kanojo with slightly different concept, if you die then you get out from dungeon, try again from beginning dungeon but time doesn't turn back
Yeah. I so love these slow but steady and definite growth-type stories. But almost all goes for the OP from the beginning setting to catch quick attention. And those are just as quick to lose their steam like in 3 or 4 chapters. But this one is still exciting even after 40+ chapters. It's really refreshing when compared to every other power fantasy manga/anime.
Not just that but it also shows he needed guidance and how his mentors were consistently putting in the work to make their student with benefits into the hero they all want him to be. Even if they're all motivated from a FAR less than idea place for a teacher figure, even as they're all teachers who both stepped up and took the time to learn what he needed to excel so HE could go on to grow as a person.I'm glad to see a series where the MC is constantly losing in order to grow stronger. His strength isn't from his ability to learn any skill at a fast rate, its from learning from his failures and improving on his approach whenever possible.
He literally would be "useless" without the guidance of veterans who are capable of instructing him on what he should do, but he takes every lesson seriously and to heart.

Aren't they watching with a spell cast on him, so they can see what's going on inside, and their experience is helping them better guide Cross about it (besides hearing for whichever other people even got to challenge it before, since this is apparently a request through the guild)?Yeah, I think this dungeon isn't newly discovered. They totally knew about it and used this purely as a training spot for him. They are way too knowledgeable about it, otherwise.
To be fair, he does also have that inherent skill that massively buffs his skill growth rate, but that's about par for the course for a shounen manga protagonist. It's also understandable why they'd have that to speed up plot progression a bit. Regardless, still nice to see his skills gradually improve and build upon each other over the course of the series.I'm glad to see a series where the MC is constantly losing in order to grow stronger. Not only that, based on how the clothes missing cleanly like that he was split in two 😱Oh wow, the boss blew his guts out. You can see the story just from Cross's face and his bloodied, damaged clothing. Good storytelling.
I'm leaning toward some kind of beholder. The clean cut across his body seems consistent with a beam attack of some kind.Guessing the boss is a Ropper. Good thing he’s not a woman otherwise this woulda gone way differently
