This is the first time I haven’t really felt a unique connection with the story. I’m not sure why. With my other translations, I usually feel a special kind of fondness, but this one just feels different.
Hm...maybe it's because the lack of emotional connection this MC has compared with the other works you've translated.
Right now, the MC just feels like a Mary Sue dropped in a classic reincarnation plot—someone died with regrets and was reborn and now everything is going perfectly in their way. It's only been 2 chapters, but she's already pretty much taken over her household and has overpowered and subordinated an entire merchant guild despite still being a child. All the adults treat her like she's a grown up too, with the maids listening to her orders first and her father even willing to relinquish the head of household title to her.
The story mentioned in Chapter 1 about how pre-reincarnation MC was blind and that he couldn't protect someone important to them, but the author glossed over that, did a time skip, and focused more on the action bits. There was barely any panels focusing on MC really bonding with their new family for readers to get attached.
Compared to a story like "My Heart is an Old Man", this one feels much more fast paced that it's hard to find something to connect to yet unless you're a big fan of OP protagonists pubstomping all their problems away while their friends and family unquestionably support them from the sidelines.
Not saying that this story can't get better later on, just that the other stories you've translated had better hooks than this one.
