If a translator is using DeepL as a dictionary, they're not a translator. There's dozens of Japanese dictionary and resources across the web. This is some "if the typesetting is nice and the grammar is clean that means it's not MTL" cope.

Just wanna say I agree with you but for people that don't know professional CAT tools do have MTL suggestions and user-defined dictionaries to potentially speed up the process

Okay, let me reframe the "taco truck" to something else. Cosplay.
You make a costume, make it the best to your abilities and go out to see the reaction of people seeing your costume. Fine. But here comes another person who has done the exact SAME character as you did.

My reaction as an outsider and taking the picture is "Wow! More of my favorite character", while one of the cosplayers is mentally biting their thumb thinking "how dare the other person cosplaying this character is stealing my thunder". JFC, to that person in my example, get over yourself. The other person is just getting angry over the fact the other person DARED to do the same thing. If this is enough to cause that person to lose "motivation", then the reasons for being there were pretty weak to begin with.

Cosplay isn't a 1 to 1 comparison either.

Cosplay as a hobby is more of a show of appreciation of a character and the like.

But translating is more of presenting a product in a way. You can't really bond over selling a similar product like you can with cosplay.

You put your hours into translating and making a work to show people and someone else is coming in and trying to do the same after you've shown interest and commitment to doing it. There's more of an underlying "I think I can do this better than you" to it.

Also with stuff like MTL and such it's like going to a con, seeing someone cosplay the same character and they're only doing it because they're popular and they actually bought the cosplay off someone else.

In the end, people can enjoy seeing two of a cosplay but you'd be hard pressed to find people reading 2 translations a manga and going "wow, 2 cakes".

They moved off mangadex and now upload only to Comick. They probably don't wanna upload anything here after the DMCA takedown. I can only assume it is because they want to avoid legal trouble since they ask for Patreon/Ko-fi support.

Frankly the entire response was just multiple pages of semantics and gymnastics. Very few actual counterpoints were provided and was mostly just paragraphs of personal attacks.

Bro also spoke at length about his discord “messages” with senko but fails to provide said “messages.” Then talks all about how they have the better quality pages as if objective fact when frankly Senko’s pages don’t look pixelated at all.

Senko has also been uploading to that site on a regular basis, so yeah. Plus this is not the first series Mylene sniped from anyone, though; it's pretty much been their MO. And they don't just snipe, they snipe and provide lower quality.

And one has to admit that it's pretty pathetic of them to suddenly upload this one chapter here just to make a point.

What can I say... better raws, worse english translation, terrible english... chatGPT does a better job... sigh or your prompts suck.
Regardless, is it really worth it to fight against Senko scans? Seems like a waste of time to me.
Also, fi you want to make your own version, at least start from ch 1... the series isn't dead or anything, though I guess being lazy can be a good enough reason... if the series is dead, that is.

They should focus on the hundreds of abandoned series instead of sniping so they def have bad intentions in doing this.
