Poor Ciel doesn't probably know shit about everything, but I hope she learns why Karina got triggered that much, and be an element of her healing.
It's difficult to think about what you've done when you're buried underneath a few tonnes of snow

What are you people talking about? All the maids clearly got out. Also in the first chapter, Ciel knew very well the dynamics between the sisters
If they got out then pages 30 and 31 are weird. You can see the avalanche following the maids in 30, then the panel afterwards is positioned closer to the maids to signify something getting closer and then 31 shows everything being buried underneath the snow. If they asspull that everyone got out I will accept that later on, but right now I can't see it as anything other than them being buried.

I agree with some commenters, personally I think the avalanche was not Reshutoka-Karina doing, Reshutoka doesn’t changed her form to beast mode. Perhaps Aurora‘s intel was nearby waiting for Karina to return to the castle and then trigger the avalanche to bury her there. It’s possible. For Karina lashes out to ciel, well usually personal maid is one of the closest person to the lady, it’s weird that she doesn't know the sisters‘s dynamic and the fact her sister has kick Karina out of her position as future queen and caused her to be exiled… like theres gotta be some problem there.

I see a lot ppl here being like "waos finally a true villainess story, such evil MC" when Karina is not actually evil, unless i'm mischaracterizing what a villain, Karina ain't one. At most karina is a broken person just looking for "justice" in the form of revenge, clearly clouded by the hatred of things that mostly are biased bc of her upbringing.

Her most "villainess" acts were probably she acting like a spoiled brat back when she was still engaged and that's bc that's how she was raised and expected to act.

"oh but she almost killed her maids, she wants to kill her sister, the prince and destroy the country" yeah that's just her grieving. she says she wants to, but i'd bet that if she was presented w the option of actually doing it she wont, idk something something she's hurt and she just other ppl to feel as hurt as she is yada yada.

Living with the wolf tribe i'm pretty sure she will heal bc she will for the first time actually be loved for who she is instead for what she can offer.

People here really trying to claim those maids and other servants got out safely either have no idea how fast an avalanche moves or are just being willfully ignorant of their death.

On page 27 we get a nice clear view of the castle from the hill Karina is standing on and we can see the only sides with slopes the avalanche could come from are the right, or behind it. On page 30 we can see it crashing from behind the castle and moving very clearly in the same direction as the caravan leaving the castle and literally right on them screaming for help, then on page 31 from the same hill we could see the full castle and surroundings the entire area is now buried in snow and debris that is still flowing down the path the caravan was leaving on.

They didn't outrun it, they didn't just step to the side of it, those people are 100% buried and gone, and any writing to say otherwise means either the author fucked up the art(since they are also the artist) or they are ass-pulling them from the grave.

Now on the topic of who caused it, we simply don't know at this time. It could've been Karina asking for it, it could've been the sister thinking she was still in the castle, hell it even could've been natural, we don't know.

Arguing back and forth about whether they're dead or not feels a bit needless. It's schrodinger's avalanche. They're both dead and alive until we inevitably get told whether they died in the avalanche or got out.

I would assume that SOMEONE would get back to inform prince hairline and aurora of what happened regardless of everything else. Much more interesting to consider who did it. Obviously Reshutoka has the power to cause avalanches, but that's when she howls which we didn't see, while aurora might be in league with the prince to kill karina and caused the avalanche through more physical means. Or maybe it could even be a third party. Much to consider.

Personally, of course, I think it'd be awesome if it was reshutoka causing the avalanche and all of them did get buried for the sake of her princess. I support women's wrongs.

PLEASE don't get Axed, all (most) of my hopes are on you and 3 more yuris
For everyone wanting to help this stay afloat, be sure to go to the raws and look through the current available chapters the week they come out (every 2 weeks for .5). The foot traffic shows reader interest to the magazine/website. Latest 2 chapters are free and unlimited so it's just a couple minutes of your time.

I don't know if there's a physical volume eta but I hope we can organize a Love Bullet style push for it if/when it happens because it's so so good. Reshutoka drives the himejoshis wild. When i saw the avalanche in the raws I was flailing my arms and pacing in circle it was so good.

So ... This "tutorial/opening" arc is over? I mean, its finally go to the main plot after introducing important stuff. And you can't just invade the country with just tiny amount of soldiers.... Unless the attacker is Isekai op cheat bs.

She's a moron if she thinks a stuffed animal from their childhood is appropriate recompense for sending two groups of nearly successful assassins.

I just feel like those are the only two explanations for Aurora: idiot or evil.
She didn't send any assassins, so she's not trying to give recompense for them. She was very clearly trying to make the castle more comfortable for her sister, and returned the stuffed animal because she probably thought it WAS a tender moment where her big sister gave her a stuffed animal. Not understanding that their parents forced her and she was bitter about it.
