Just read this again because I am translating it to my language (PT-BR) and I've got literal chills from the symbolism of the plushie at the end. And the whole "she'll never take things away from me"... Wow, my mind is rock hard now. I transcended.

Anyways, here's hoping Reshutoka is so down bad for Karina she won't even bat an eye if Aurora tries to buy her off/take her somehow (be it seducing, be it forging an alliance between the nation and the tribe). "Nah my wife says she doesn't like you so we can't be friends"

I feel bad for the maid, who seems to genuinely care about Karina. From her worried reaction, i'm sure that Karina is misunderstanding everything.
The maid must know how Karina's sister genuinely cares and treasures her sister.
Karina's sister left the plushie, that she loves because it was a gift from her sister, with the maid. just like Karina did to her when they we're younger.

Before this chapter i also assumed that the prince had assassinated the maid, like how he sent assasins after Karina. so at least she's still alive.

I see a lot ppl here being like "waos finally a true villainess story, such evil MC" when Karina is not actually evil, unless i'm mischaracterizing what a villain, Karina ain't one. At most karina is a broken person just looking for "justice" in the form of revenge, clearly clouded by the hatred of things that mostly are biased bc of her upbringing.

Her most "villainess" acts were probably she acting like a spoiled brat back when she was still engaged and that's bc that's how she was raised and expected to act.

"oh but she almost killed her maids, she wants to kill her sister, the prince and destroy the country" yeah that's just her grieving. she says she wants to, but i'd bet that if she was presented w the option of actually doing it she wont, idk something something she's hurt and she just other ppl to feel as hurt as she is yada yada.

Living with the wolf tribe i'm pretty sure she will heal bc she will for the first time actually be loved for who she is instead for what she can offer.
dicho y hecho, except for that last part tho but, it still can happen! i believe in you grl!

That wasn't very smart to show herself with Reshutoka. She's going to bring heat on the Wolf Tribe and it's not only dangerous for them but it will give her less time to build her strength.

(Not to mention, that for all she knew, she could have stumbled on Aurora and the prince, been arrested and executed on the spot. It's lucky and a bit nonsensical that this lit-up castle was only due to a blitzkrieg visit and not a short stay)

A bit reckless, especially when we haven't seen much she could actually use for her revenge. The tribe are mostly civilians, kids. And she's not going to be able to win every fight with an avalanche
