Gotta love the absolute glee on Ferdinand s face as he realized he has the legal authority to do whatever the freak he wants! As well as Gunther s shocked awe as Myne s using magic to protect them

So he has lots of magic power too?
I'm confused about the whole situation and his intentions; I guess he's not interested in arresting them but will directly eliminate them?
normally blue priests are those expelled from their noble houses because of a lack of mana and as such, they never attended the royal academy. Ferdinand is different

he tied up the high bishop so at the very least he’s planning to keep him alive, though if he can kill everyone, then disposing of their bodies and covering this all up would be easier lol

There should be around 5 more chapters left for the end of part 2. Volume 13 has been confirmed as the last volume for that part.

And if you want to binge read, the light novel is completed. The manga is likely to take more than 10-15 years before the last part is done.
Yes but this situation should end in 1-2 chapters. I’m guessing the remaining three chapters are going to be epilogue. For the last LN volume of part 2, almost half of it or maybe more than half of it, is just epilogue and side stories focused on people other than Myne

Myne will declared and baptized as Karstedt's biological daughter and then be adopted by Sylvester. Sylvester is the Aub (archduke) of Ehrenfest.
yes but the original plan that we even see happening in part 2 (specifically discussed in chapter 42) is that she will be adopted by Karsted.

there's a lot of problems that will be discussed later on about everything but that's still a ways away. as for his intentions they are at least triple in their goals that comes from this. but as it stands for Myne the only real one that effects her is her self defense which means nothing in this society as a noble can do anything with a commoner (with a few special exceptions but those are mainly to do with the nobilitys greed then actual protection for the commners)

Yeah. Not sure how many chapters it'll be in the manga, but we're near the end of the last light novel volume of part 2.
Considering where the Part 3 manga starts, we might have enough for a volume to deal with the aftermath and side stories and have it end in 13 volumes

Such a tease of a situation.
I could splash my savings to buy the LN, but I want to see the conflict in manga form.
You can find the whole thing same as you found this, ain't like MD is any more legit. Double back with your wallet if you dig it

Also this, the earlier parts are pretty tight timeline wise but parts 4-5 are probably never going to be fully mangafied. And even if they are, manga probably won't be as good a way to follow them anymore, since they lean WAY more into lengthy noble yapisodes

Btw Sylv told her to drop some blood on the charm, of course it didn't do anything before.

i mean it's not like they ever appear after this anyway so it really doesn't matter
Demonstrating the shield's ability to be supernaturally selective re: reading people's intentions (and Myne's own willingness to go 'oh well, guess you die...') does have /some/ degree of value though. Also helps in conveying the stakes / noble indifference going into part 3 when the peanut gallery actually gets AOE roasted lol. Do hope they show up for their moment next chapter

HELL YEAH, DISSECT THE PIGS!!!

Why does Delia need forgiving? She's a victim here.
She did betray Myne by leaving her services and essentially sending to adoption a baby she was looking after without her approval. Not only is this a betrayal of Myne's trust, in the world of nobles, a grey priest in training turning their backs to their master like that shows weakness on the master's part, marking them as a target for further harassment by other nobles, and Myne already is a prime target as is simply due to her plebeian origins and immense magical powers.

And Delia was aware of all of those factors when she decided to do what she did. Delia is not a victim in this situation. Sure, she was lied to about Dirk being treated fairly, but everything else surrounding her choices she did knowing fully well what the consequences would be for Myne.
