I'm calling it that Miura will flower, save the day, but still die in the end.
So far flowering has taken place when a Ramus has had a psychologically transformational experience. Mirror experiencing strong emotions for perhaps the first time and misunderstanding the nature of love. Heavenfall seeing that his wife had been playing the part of his daughter for years, and that he'd selfishly chosen to ignore the obvious truth. Zoe when prioritizing someone else over her 'mother'. Lucas, the chess master who can sacrifice thousands being forced to confront the fragility of his own existence and the actual nature of his abilities through loss of his sight and hearing.

Miura fulfilled the goal he'd gained during the mental breakthrough that improved his strength. It's possible he'll survive because of his enhancement, but we saw a similar situation before which didn't end with flowering. The 'attacks slow down and never connect' Ramus from the Empire was enhanced, but died without flowering from Coura transferring a mortal wound. Akira not incapacitating Heavenfall's wife instead of killing her kept Heavenfall from flowering, even though Heavenfall was enhanced to the point of being able to use a burst of power even with a wound that looked instantly fatal.

Poppy~ you need to start explaining yourself~
"The people I take orders from are the Futurists, and I do so for personal reasons. All the other Rami were ignorant of their status as pawns in a proxy war, so I couldn't relate to and looked down on them. I am ugly, lazy, unfriendly, imoulsive, inarticulate, unpopular and easily pushed around. Lucas is in many ways my opposite, so can't help feelings of jealousy and hatred. I've had to kill plenty of people I didn't hate on his orders, something he never expressed remorse over. Recently he made me use my power in conjunction with Demi for hours to deliver messages, even though normally a Ramus with a focus draining physical manipulation power would collapsed of exhaustion or worse from that stunt. Everyone thought he was clever, nobody thanked me. And, as a hypothetical, if I cared about the Futurists even a little bit, could you blame me for wanting to kill off a guy whose goal is to wipe them out, and has the powers needed to pull that off?"

Surely Poppy doing this because her family got threatened? I just feel like she'd rather rush to others or even the pope and snitch rather than complying to the rebels.
She's always been an undercover operative for another faction. The most likely explanation is that if she has a family, it's on that side (makine the pope and Lucas its biggest threats). If her family were loyal to the pope but threatened by another faction, she probably could have gotten them rescued by the pope (who would also use them as hostages... but the risks of retaliation on a family are way lower for soldiers than spies).
