We are currently 7 chapters behind; chapters release in halves every 2 weeks. I plan to wait and bundle them.

Anyway Kasumi a cute. The first chapter didn't hint so much but there's a bit of darkness to this one.
Not as much as Dominant - that one's very toxic and bittersweet. But you're in for some melancholic angst regardless.

You'd be tempted to think Kasumi's "shame" is tied to more romantic desires, but it really seems to be the simple act of digging into Onee-sama's identity. She's desperate for closeness but terrified of betraying Onee-sama's trust. Yet clearly she subconsciously doubts Onee-sama too, despite herself. There's something this ties into later which isn't fully explained yet, but safe to say Kasumi's got issues.

There's also a nice contrast with Kasumi's reactionary self-loathing crashing into worrying what Momo would think if she undid the braids. Kasumi is a very selfless person, but selfless to the point it's only causing her pain. This manga is filled with lots of great little interplays or contradictions like that.

Momo's just a chill guy.

It's an important distinction this isn't exactly Class S - it's a roleplay that starts their relationship. It's still set in the modern day without as much social pressure against lesbian relationships. So far there's been no hint of discrimination, taboos share other sources, and conflicts stem from elsewhere. There's a theme of fantasy vs reality; it's very probable their relationship outpaces "playing S", maybe before either is prepared for it.
Also the manga is officially tagged as romance & yuri. While I can't rule out tragedy, this is firmly a love story.

We're only two chapters in and this already feels like a classic manga that's been going on for ages. This is soooooo good so far.

The MC (as well as her friend) is super endearing and it feels like there's not a single wasted page, it's all slow-but-steady development and interesting introspection (without being something annoying).

Again, very charming and engaging.

Finally, thanks to the goat translator (of Aizawa fame) for picking this up, since the previous one seems to be too busy to continue (they also did a good job before).
