This wasn't very good. I like the message, don't get me wrong, but the resolution was very amateurish. Likes the characters though, I just wish the pacing were a bit better and the events leading up to the conclusion didn't feel so half-assed.

Idk, maybe if this was my first "seinen-like" manga it would be good. But everything in it is amateurish and underdeveloped.
I guess it was because the manga was under threat of cancelation.

I literally have no idea why you guys dislike the ending. Not every story has to have a dark tragic ending. I think the three of them being happy is the most fitting ending for takopii. I don't feel like its rushed either, I think that y'all just don't emotionally connect enough to the characters for the ending to do its job.

Rushed lackluster ending aside, I mostly enjoyed the journey through the whole manga.

The issue I think most people have isn’t that it’s not a dark ending, it’s that it doesn’t really do anything to deserve the ending it gives us. Takopi pulls some convenient power out of its ass and suddenly they become friends? It completely misses the picture. The resolution is straight up, “Solve your problems with magic,” it’s honestly really disrespectful.

Well this was one hell of a ride, though the ending leaves a lot to be desired.

The start to middle of the story were amazing, a lot of twists and events happening and I quite liked the message too, takopi being the airhead that he is, it portraits how happiness can't be created with some magic recipe or some magic gadgets but it really depends on each one of us, we can find happiness in others, family or just stuff that we love and enjoy doing.

The ending was the weaker point here, although I personally liked it overall, seeing the power of friendship being used here as a way to solve the conflict was a bit meh.

This manga/anime kind of reminds me of wonder egg priority, both evolve around similar subjects both (animes) share similar colorful styles. But wonder egg priority was such a disappointment at the end cause it left a lot of questions unanswered and the supposedly special episode was half recap and half filler
