well, the way i see it, just like pokemon. they reveal the full evolutions of the starter pokemon (sword/shield or scarlet/violet) eventho they are underwhelming(IMO) just to raise buzz.

Oh god, that's cute. Kinda wondering how they'd treat his evolutions moving forward. Maybe like in I'm A Spider, where they see themselves as cute, but when you shift to the human's POV, you see this extremely threatening monster.

Gorgon releases constant snakes, which it literally describes as looking like hell

and ugly dragon is ugly. Not great for an MC who does actually want to get along with people.
