I felt like this part is expanded from the novel, other than that looking back now the fact that this is still arc 1 / 10 is wow, because the novel reader usually doesn't put first arc in their top 5 arc for this series. I hope the next scene is also expanded upon like few chapter in this volume. If they end the manga without finishing it i prefer to axe it in the end of arc 2 or arc 4 or arc 6 but hopefully not and the series become popular enough.


So please if any publisher, author, producer for the anime seeing this properly censor the sexual abuse scene and preferably use the LN design with MC wearing normal pants also they could not include the TS part because the author write it for fetish only then abandon it to write better and serious story (I like TS, but i prefer the series become more popular)

People like me or what ? Don't get me wrong i am huge fan of this series and always pushing it to other if there is discussion if you are talking the MC design , WN/LN design is indeed better and more proportional, she is also looks like more in her age range.

The censorship ? i am talking about properly censoring while not removing it like as example like what already happen in this version of manga that you read in mangadex also put trigger warning in the front. If you buy the physical manga they actually show MC nipple which isn't that necessary imo so censor it.

They already made verdie and garback more easy to symphatize in the manga compared to the WN/LN so changing the story isn't always bad thing as long it's good or proper or whatever you think it meant.

I am also pissed regarding censorship as example with how they censor the dialogue (downplaying the scenario happen of all time especially in season 2-3) in ascendance of a bookworm anime because they realized that there are a lot children that watching it, one of the main appeal in this series always a dark sh*tty world seen in pink lenses. They adapt the original series ffs not the junior bunko / children novel version.

As example there is also SA in arc 2 no need to show MC or other soldier genitalia or like that in the screen just show the soldier looking at it and maybe with lil gesture lowering their pants but not completely. Using MC PoV for that scene will be great.

The Goblin Slayer anime was medicore because the director couldn't be assed to put in effort to make Goblin Slayer actually look menacing in his desperate moments. The whole sequence in the catacombs where he is on his last legs daring the goblins to come at him has no tension, and similarly in the same sequence, they cut away HEA's scene of beating a goblin to death while her shirt was ripped off.

This was still within roughly the first half of the show and the show itself was finished before broadcast

I personally see isekai as source of reflection and subversion. Whole manga is like a thought experiment. What would happen if mages exist? Artillery would be much more thorough but more scarce. What would happen if people were able to use healing spells? Field surgery would be potentially more available, but inadvisable unless there is another what if - magic swordsmen - was added as priority value asset. And what if FPS gamer do in WW1 scenario? The answer is absolutely nothing. All modern knowledge is useless without material base and all technologies that could be invented were already invented. Thought experiment.
And genderswap is just small bit of character dynamics and motivation factor. For once it explains small and weak person on a frontline.

There is a difference between changing the story to work better for different kind of media and censorship. The first one is done to make the story actually better by making it easier to understand when the tools for story telling are different, like the new Dune movies have done with the shields and lasers compared to the books. The second one is done to make the story more profitable by increasing the appeal to a wider audience.

This should make it obvious that censorship is always bad.

It had nothing to do with opinions of such superficial things like making characters look more menacing, but actually removing/not including/censoring whole parts of the story.

All the party wipes except the first one in the first episode are missing. They don't even happen off screen in the anime. The "cutting off fingers and collecting them for reattachment" in the second season is missing. The whole story arc about the dark elf general invasion after the festival is missing. A few may be because of the directors incompetence but the mayority is obviously because of censorship, considering the first episode was directed properly.

I know people joke about "why should this be TS or isekai?", but how would you explain Touri's general attitude otherwise?
Just imagine a non-isekai'd war orphan girl having the caution and spatial awareness of an avid FPS shooter, her vulnerability from her lack of self awareness as a girl amidst a bunch of guys, it's just not as believable if it weren't a TS Isekai story.
