Also, I have to say, this will go really good or really bad. And also Mochizuki is having second thoughts just because "oh because predator and prey action she might not like you". BULL. SHIT. If the past volume proved anything, they love each other HIGHLY.

He has been a wuss this whole time:

• Not even stick to his gun and deny his relationship with his GF publicly (to his friend).
• Not even ask if Kawaru has feelings for him. Like, come on, you already committed to the false love, just ask and maybe she'd say yes, then it'll be a real love. But nope.
• Immediately chicken out the moment a more handsome guy shows up, causing his crush to cry.
• Being an absolutely reckless idiot with the number of time he got himself injured. Dude is well aware his blood attracts Kawaru AND the threats of her permanently turning, but didn't even take any precaution to protect himself.

I could go on, but author-san already set Mochizuki up to be your typical shounen MC, which I really hate. But it is what it is.

Sad but not too sad to be honest, I like the general artistic style of the manga, it reached 3 volumes and the story seems to be heading to conclusion without leaving much left to say. I hope the last chapter will be a good one and I will probably pick up a physical copy when and if I'll get the chance.

This was sorta my takeaway too, but on more of the “if you take the dango at all it will always transform you, so rejecting it entirely is the only way to stay human. But, now that I’m thinking about it, I dunno. I don’t remember the lore of this series well enough to make an informed theory

Or, at least, that's the excuse: I suspect, however, that the dango would have changed him into a rabbit no matter what, and all of this was just a ploy to make him compliant...

Author a while back said that unless sales of the volumes picked up, it was unlikely that the manga will continue and recent chapters seems to show its been hit by the "wrap it up" oscar music.


As for the chapter, I fully expected him to remain human and then get a bog standard happy ending but I'm glad the author has the leeway to throw one last curveball before the end.

Now if Kawaru actually DOES end up on the moon and we get a BAD ending, I think I'd be alone but I think it would be a great twist. Just like the manga, their relationship is hit with Axe-kun.

First abandon him, and then swoop in, and fetch him.
And try to sound understanding, and sympathetic, at that.
That does not fly.
He should just have refused that "magic food ball", and stayed.
And if the parents forced him to come along, he can either try to wreck everything he can lay his hands on, try to kill them, or suicide. So long as they can't brainwash him, they can't really force him to be with them on the moon.
After all, he's still at an age where his mindset allows for absolutes.

no he probably thought "if i become a human she wont love me anymore", hence his commitment to becoming human faltering.

Now that hes fully rabbit we wont know if shes truly being "charmed" or if its genuine love (tho ofc its the latter this being a romance manga and all).
