For those missing the manga, don't worry; it's being rebooted this month by a new artist

Thank you for the translation! Always better to reach the end, than leaving the last chapter or two of a manga dangling!

This was an enjoyable read, though. Laid back, no great drama, just a happy-go-lucky travel log of adventures in a parallell world. Very nice!

but man, the biggest "nothing happened" in the history of "nothing happened" manga, this was a chill story but it was setting plot lines to follow just to... end here? In a generic isekai story this entire manga would have happened in like 5 chapters, it ended after finishing the initial setup. since the previous comments showed that there is a reboot I hope that reboot actually let's the story flow because it wasn't a bad story at all.

Even most Axed manga wouldn't be like this, the only reason this manga ends like this because the Author passed away

"This message was created when 4 main pages missing at the end"

Fixed Ending is like your average axed manga, not great, and I don't expect much

So they axed this artist and rewrote the manga? I mean Sucre looks to be pretty ero-kawaii in her new design, but I just got reminded that this is a Gamei Hitsuji title... He doesn't really like to stick to one title, 'til it finishes and just drops a new one every time a new magic system he thinks of and couldn't implement it in his other long running title which is in writing hell...
The artist is probably busy with another series. That tentacles one.

This adaptation ended but a new one started on July 10th
Nice, is it a continuation, or does it start from the beginning again?
I don't know why they don't just continue it as is with a new artist if they're going to do something like this. :thonk:

Anyway, this particular series is enjoyable, but there was no real conflict or goal, it was just the MC sometimes hanging out in a dungeon, and sometimes hanging out in the isekai world. It just felt like it went no where, despite having elements of building up to something - this last chapter in particular seemed to finally introduce an interesting conflict, with butting heads against a big upcoming guild, the royal family, and the opinions of others due to his low ranking...
...only for the comic to end, lol. :dogkek:

That seems to be an issue with a lot of these 'advertising comics', they don't seem to introduce a hook from the series that is attention grabbing enough to make you want to pick up the books - and if they DO introduce such a hook, the ending of the comics is usually so frustrating it leaves a sour taste in your mouth and makes you feel like you wasted your time reading it.
The best option seems to be to introduce the main hook, but the comics focus on a smaller arc that can be completed within the comic's run and ending on that note - so it ends in a satisfying way, but still leaves the plot threads dangling so the audience wants more.

Anyway, if this continues, I'll happily read it since it was enjoyable, but if there's nothing more; I don't mind. :wtf:

No.

AFAICT the first paragraph of that message was created when there were 4 pages missing and he actually meant something like "WTF? Did the author die or something?", even though what he wrote was actually a statement.

Then the missing 4 pages were updated and the second (in quotes for whatever reason) and third paragraph were added.
