In the future the cheating ex gf will be so emotional beatdown from the yelling and accusations from her mother, mc's mother, her classmates, her teachers, the mc's new girl and the mc herself, that she will try to kill herself. But instead of realizing they might be pushing a bit hard, they double down on her calling her selfish and wanting to run away leaving a wound on the mc's heart.

I know many people want to see her get her comeuppance, and she does. But at some point you have to stop punishing someone for a mistake. I just don't see the point of expecting great emotional maturity and reasoning from a high school girl.

your take is hard to swallow but i get it, they can be punished but not overly, at least she is lucky that he didn't managed to suicide either, if he did i WILL NEVER LET HER GO AND THE ONES INVOLVED

Also - this was almost certainly written as a direct response to all the NTR doujins out there where the MC doesn't get a good ending, and horrific shit happens with zero consequences for either the antagonist, or the women who are complicit (either willingly, or ..."eventually willingly", let's say).
This isn't meant to be realistic in what it does to the "bad people" who hurt the protagonists.

It's revenge porn for a reason - it's just meant to allow the reader to insert whatever people they want to from their own life and imagine that all these bad things happen to them, while they get to live their happy fantasy as the protagonists getting their good ending. Trying to play the "oh it got too egregious for the bad guys" card just runs counter to the point.

If people want nuance in their dramatic revenge stories, there's other titles out there - this one's not even pretending to want to be that.

I agree and with how much people love revenge stories I’m legitimately surprised that there hasn’t been any stories like this one.
