So she goes from being an idol to having an entire group of NTR-manga guys running a train on her as her group instead? I guess having all your co-workers and "fans" blown away will do that to a girl.
You need to read closer: They were always running trains on her, she just doesn't need to hide it anymore.

Also, notice she goes from Aliens to Foreigners.

I feel like Odori snapped in a different way... Just decided to deep dive into building a harem as a form of avoiding reality, the way some people just have a lot of one-night stands and sex after bad stuff. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but she does NOT feel "okay" to me.

Also, I loved the panel with the trash falling outside the window, felt so symbolic with her telling him to throw away his humanity. She actually had a point with that spiel, Kitami IS pretty dang normal and he does care about others. Definitely more than Nomamoto, though that's a very low bar...
Yeah, she's gone full celebrity crashout. Her careers gone up in flames, her idol group were all murdered in front of her, and it was all covered up like it never happened. Safe to assume she herself might be "covered up" if she went public with it. So she's decided to just indulge herself in parties and fun.
She has a deep hatred for the aliens now but, in the end that's all it is. She's not the one who made it their life mission to murder them all. That was Kitami. Funnily enough though, her entire description of what Kitami should be describes Nomamoto to a T lol.

Kitami can change his mind at any time, though. There is no reason why this has to be his "life mission", and egging him on on a path that is fundamentally self-destructive is incredibly fucked up. That can only come from a position of thorough ignorance, or from pure, malicious selfishness.
You're supposed to care at least a little bit about your fellow persons well-being, and not use them as your attack dogs.

The entourage of obliging simps she is surrounding herselves with hammers it home pretty hard that Odori is fundamentally a manipulative person, and that's what she is doing here. "Go, further dig yourself in deeper, because I gave you a cheap earring" - there is nothing genuine in this gesture.

Another chapter with a rapid character personality change.

While it's framed as revealing who she was all along, that other meeting they had in the diner a number of chapters ago feels even weirder now...

I do NOT trust this chick.

Lol, what are you saying here when Kitami's hands are literally drenched in blood. I won't say she's not manipulating him. But, it's not exactly subtle. It's overt and directly to his face. With nothing expected or promised in return.

Remember, she's not HIS friend. She's a friend of his sister from back in the day. She has no obligation to care about someone who's barely an acquaintance's mental well being. Especially someone already in so deep. What she's telling him to do is stop being wishy washy.

He let himself be tripped up by one possibly nice alien when he's already murdered hundreds of random potentially innocent aliens and fed them to Hannibal Lecter at home out of nothing but, sheer hatred. And that one nice alien even turned around and murdered a whole idol group like it was nothing.

Just because he killed doesn't mean he has to keep killing.

There is nothing wrong in "letting himself get tripped up" or whatever. There is no god-given duty or some such to see his unrealistic pipedream to the bitter end. All the killing he's done isn't going to be more justified or gain purpose by continuing to do so. You'd have to be legitimately mental to believe that.

In any case, I might repeat myself - but I think basic decency is something that should be extended to everyone. I think trying to manipulate other people is generally wrong, and to do so overtly is an insult to boot. Not being someones friend is not an excuse to do any of these things. You don't push the mentally ill even deeper, only an absolute amoral asshole does that.

You missed reading some parts. She said that she always had many boyfriends. The only thing that changed was that she's not hiding them anymore.

And I'm saying you're looking for basic decency in the wrong place. The one you're talking about here is a Serial Killer. And was long before she got involved. He was murdering random civilian aliens and feeding them to his partner on a regular basis. Basic decency? Morals? They are SO far beyond that at this point it's laughable.
