I don't follow scanlator drama, so I didn't know that. My point still stands that they have zero options from the position they're in with this series to come out looking good. This is the GDS we are talking about who is famous for the phrase "just snipe a single chapter if you want GDS to dump 20 chapters overnight".
There is a reason for every GDS release having the comment "Like clockwork" under %90 of their chapters.
All I know is Sasha's supposed to be this insanely powerful and revered heroic figure who leads the strongest party, and she kicked Hyce out with the backing of the rest of her group over him being too weak.I don't want him to get back with her either, but there's a difference between him hating her, and him being a d-bag.
They're the front line and they're needed to protect the capital, so he's supposed to let his loathed ally fall (risking everyone's lives) because he hates her?
I'd prefer if he just helped her and then continued to refuse to talk or acknowledge her - or perhaps even insult her for being incompetent (like he was at the beginning).
Ah someone gets it, just aim it at the general direction of the enemy, you'll deal AoE damage to other enemies as wellSo, waste all the ammo in a single Itano Circus and then be left with nothing but a K-Bar?![]()
Preach. They left him to handle, SOLO, what the 4 (5?) of them barely could handle. Fuck them and the horse they rode in on. I literally saw the "Sasha's Bleeding" moment and was like:I'll say it.
I hope he doesn't go and help her.
I don't want her to die (obviously she can't, the author loves her too much for that to happen), but I hope he just "cool dudes don't look at explosions" and does something else while Sasha figures her own S-Rank shit out with All Of Her Doting Hangers On.
Let Hyce keep up the loner+elf shit for awhile longer. Everyone can be mad at him or whatever, but the manga adaptation should absolutely play up his "I really want nothing to do with you anymore" angle for Hyce.
Clearly, it won't go down like that, but I can pretend.
Yeah, though as much shit as they deserve for holding chapters, half of the time the "like clockwork" is a funny coincidence, because someone decide to snipe while they already have a chapter in their site that is going to be uploaded a few hours later anyway (well that was prior to the dmca here in dex, where it changed how they upload here now with being 1 chapter behind lol)This is the GDS we are talking about who is famous for the phrase "just snipe a single chapter if you want GDS to dump 20 chapters overnight".

And yeah, though whether these chapters get upload here as a split or a full chapter is up to the usual uploader ma_ko, since he is unlrelated to GDS as a group and just grab their shit and upload them here (tho prior to the dmca, the translator used to upload this serie here, instead of ma_ko), the translator for this serie released 7, 8 and 9 as full, so they got uploaded here like that, but now released the split for 10, so it went back to how it used to release since is up to date, and i mean, dunno how much they get to win with only traffic since their site have no ads neither they have a coin/sub system like other groups that hold chapters in their site (their patreon voting shit aside which is not even in their site)I'm in the camp that prefers to get the full chapter, so I have no problem waiting for them to upload it here.
They're in a no-win situation with the partial chapters though. They've been releasing full chapters, so if they start releasing the partial chapters even though that's how they're released in the raws, they look like they're holding back to drive traffic to their site. If they don't release the partial chapters, they look like they're holding back for some arbitrary reason that the masses will likely decide is to somehow get money. If they do like they are now and release partial chapters on their site and full chapters here, it looks like they're holding back to force traffic to their site so they get money. There's no way for them to come out of this situation without some group being mad at them and thinking they're just trying to extort the readers for money, so I have no problem with them continuing how they are.
Sasha is so bad at communicating. She knows Hyce is mad at her thinking they abandoned him and set him up and now she doesn't even say "I'll leave it to you" or "we'll come back after dealing with... "? She just thinks to herself that she'll leave it to Hyce? WHAT?!
I believe the next "dungeon" is that sky city (whatever it's called, it's been a while since I read this), this is where the basically make up pretty much. She will jump on his helicopter and they will be alone together for that entire arc (not a long arc). They are not going to talk things through either. They just end up getting along. Honestly, for a ton of chapters she will be living her best life. Also one irritating thing. When she comes back from sky castle she will get on her knees and ask forgiveness from her clan for dipping on them to go hang out with Hyce in that sky city. Honestly... Hundred of chapters later, she will get expelled from her clan, and party up with Hyce for the remaining of the story. Which is still ongoing.
it would seem the author has the same issue with Sasha that Reiji has with Chizuru over at RAG.Does the Author have a kink for selectively mute women?
IHundred of chapters later, she will get expelled from her clan, and party up with Hyce for the remaining of the story. Which is still ongoing.
Funny thing you mentioned that. In the demon world there's a descendant of Nobunaga named Hideyoshi and Haise is hardwired into looking at her favorably due to his origins, which is pretty evident from the first interaction between the two. This made Sasha insanely jealous since Haise made a soft expression towards Hideyoshi, which she hadn't seen ever since it's just the two of them in the party. Of course Haise has to reassure her because author gotta protect Sasha from the scary big wide world out there.
Was that the Sky Dungeon or a dungeon in the demon continent?
I'm okay with this development, especially if Sasha figures out how much she f*'d up.
Don't worry, we still have a chance it might follow the WN where she somehow gets all the credit and recognition for everything here. This is manga original. Entire thing is VASTLY different in the WN.
All I know is Sasha's supposed to be this insanely powerful and revered heroic figure who leads the strongest party, and she kicked Hyce out with the backing of the rest of her group over him being too weak.
It would absolutely be reasonable to assume that she should be able to handle her own shit and wouldn't need his help since she called him a hindrance and liability before inadvertently nearly getting him killed by a dragon, and subsequently ignoring him for 2 years.
I'd argue Hyce isn't being a "d-bag" at that point; rather, that him rushing in to save her, necessarily or otherwise, is worse, as it would be tantamount to insulting her supposed abilities by implying that she needs the help of some weakling she expelled from her party.
She has other powerful members in her group, so I don't know why she's trying to solo the giant turtle in the first place; plus the battlefield's got a bunch of powerful fighters beyond them as well. Hyce was handling the demon, that Sasha left to him without so much as a backward glance.
He solves his fight, she solves hers.
I also am fully aware that the author would never let his dear Sasha come to harm, which includes throwing away his written premise for the core characteristic of the title's ML to have him come white-knighting to her rescue, so whatever I say here means nothing.
My man, in this story Sasha will be the one in the right and Hyce will be unreasonble. In the WN she also got all the credit for this entire thing.Guys ... Sasha had a chance to redeem herself, and yet she abandoned him ... again.
I don't mind if MC saves her out of obligation, but the fact that the elf ended up helping him out instead, that's going to rub salt into Sasha's already fresh wounds of being saved by the 'friend' she abandoned (again).
I'm okay with this development, especially if Sasha figures out how much she f*'d up.
