With the lies and with just being in an actual relationship

It’s been said before that her goofy flirty behavior is a self-defense mechanism. She can’t be rejected if her feelings aren’t viewed as serious. But now they are serious and they are being treated as such. This is an actual relationship that she is being invited into and The thought of that is terrifying.

It will almost certainly cover at least up to the end of Volume 2 (it already finished Volume 1), as that's a natural end to its first overarching story

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it ends there as

Spoiler: Non-specific but broad spoilers for Vols 3-5 of the LN

Volumes 3 and 4 are a bit of a tonal shift, more drama flavoured with a side or order of fluffy gay... and Vol5 is super gay but also completely insane and does some absolutely crazy stuff with the story... like in the way of "Vol3/4 are a kind of natural shift, but Vol5 is enough of a shift that this may turn into something you didn't ask for" - I don't think Vol5 is bad, I quite enjoyed it, but it's scope goes crazy compared to the other volumes and introduces some themes you absolutely wouldn't expect from ther other Volumes

So if it goes past Vol2, I could see it doing the whole of 3 and 4.
