there's also no proof that the pfp is of the person who runs the account. So even that could be a red herring; maybe it's actually Kyouko's account with a fakeout pfp, and the reason she can point out Rei from a shot of a portion of suit at a dinner table is because she's the one that took it.

I honestly think all three of her friends are terrible people who are fucking up her life in some fashion, even if not by literally fucking Rei. Kyuoko vocally derides her husband and marriage, Momoka proudly carries on with affairs involving married men at her work, and Rio is...well, an enigma, comparatively, but the bland, "neutral voice of reason" feels like she's anything but, stacked up against the other two.

Throw in a dirtbag of a husband and a that festering pile of trauma that is her MIL, and I feel like this whole story is Mahoro discovering her "happy life of nearly 30" is actually a horror story that she's only just now unveiling. With potential adultery.
