I almost forgot how horribly tense and unpredicatable Kanae's home life was.

Hope Tomiko wouldn't misunderstand what Kanae did, she is an otaku and 1st issue is a precious gem... but it isn't that kind of story... brace for impact...

If it wasn't obvious, the plot is about trauma. The girls calling her liar? Blam, suddenly an outcast despite telling the truth. Not to mention who knows how many times her mom has punished her for just whatever shit she feels like with that kind of attitude.
