The whiplash of seeing Kanae laughing out loud and falling asleep reading manga to Kanae finging the damaged volume in the trash, and her little brother flinching and just trying to go about his morning is brutal. I almost forgot how horribly tense and unpredicatable Kanae's home life was.

Hope Tomiko wouldn't misunderstand what Kanae did, she is an otaku and 1st issue is a precious gem... but it isn't that kind of story... brace for impact...

oh I see now. The plot is Kanae freaking out about increasingly minor mishaps. The final chapter will be Kanae collapsing after dropping a pencil or spilling a bit of water.

In a perfect world,Kanae is able to tell Tomiko the truth and they both move into an apartment together as soon as they graduate. They leave behind their toxic friends and Kanae's evil ass mother. Kanae then comes to the realization that due to her untreated mental illness and trauma that she's not ready for a relationship yet and breaks up with Hiroshi......but unfortunately we all know how this manga ends.
