The reason slavery is ridiculous in this world is because we are all equals... But such concept is completely ridiculous in Myne's current world, where noble rankings are the norm.
Commoners are slaves with extra steps.... The big equalizer to mana capacity would be gunpowder, if Myne could develop that it would be amazing.

Gunpowder made in Yurgenschmidt would be as ineffective as arrows to nobles.

Not all nobles are made equal, i bet a .50 BMG heck even a 7.62 mm might have a chance against them.
Not gonna make enough of a difference to equalize commoners and nobles. A high noble can level a city.

Nobody would be fighting them one on one lol. With enough people ala Ruzzia, they cold probably could do it.
I guess the question is whether the mana of the target's shield and armor would outlast the ammo.
