I think you're part of the third gen of racism though. like, ok here me out this is my taxonomy
- first gen: "Racist? I dunno what that means, I just own slaves"
- second gen: "Racist? No I'm just a normal white supremacist, thank you very much"
- third gen: "I'm consciously identifying as a racist in a sort of weird meta self-aware way but also as a provocational tactic to shortcircuit liberal discursive norms"
I'm not saying you're a poser or anything like that, it's more like ... suppose after reading this post you went "naw I'm totally a racist, I'll do a hate-crime to prove it" (or something else, I dunno).
It just seems like when Cartoon Network villains monologue about, idk, killing kittens or pushing old ladies onto the road, y'know? It's less about grappling with your own self-interest or strategizing in pursuit of goals so much as a form of negative reaffirmation (I'm evil, therefore I'll do something evil - what's something Good people think is evil? Oh, killing kittens definitely).
All I can say is, I don't really get the point of consciously identifying as racist. When you see Serbians talk about genociding Turkey and calling them cockroaches, everything else feels like cosplay like you feel me? They've got this kinda genuineness to them, that's rare in the first world. There's no hint of irony in what they say. There was this guy in my class who said he was gonna stockpile guns and do another Christchurch massacre, we kinda ignored him. But it got me thinking, guy could plot and plan his whole life but I don't think he'd come even close to shooting or bombing as many Muslims than Obama already did.
